Spanish midfielder David Fuster headed a late extra-time winner to take Olympiakos to a 2-1 victory over Atromitos in the Greek Cup final on Saturday.

It was the 25th cup triumph for the Piraeus club and their 15th double after they also won the league title earlier this month.

Olympiakos took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute when Algerian striker Rafic Djebbour's low shot from just inside the penalty box darted past Atromitos goalkeeper Charles-Hubert Itandje.

That goal came four minutes after Olympiakos' Greek international defender Jose Cholevas had missed a penalty.

The Athens team equalised in the 76th minute when Argentine midfielder Matias Iglesias' 20-metre drive ricocheted off Cholevas and beat Olympiakos' former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll.

Saturday's final was the last match for Olympiakos' Spanish coach Ernesto Valverde who had announced that he would not renew his two-year contract.
