GOL TV Canada has five live matches scheduled for Saturday from Germany, Spain and Mexico. While one of Europe’s two marquee matchups on the day – Valencia v. Real Madrid – will be in the five-pack Saturday, the other big game from Germany – Bayern Munich v. Borussia Dortmund – will not be shown live.
The final 30 minutes of the German giants’ clash would overlap into the start of the Barcelona-Zaragoza match, scheduled for 1:50 p.m. ET. GOL TV Canada has committed to provide live coverage of Barcelona and Real Madrid games (with the exception of Round 38, where the best matchup would take precedence), which makes this an unfortunate scheduling conflict.
However, all is not lost. GOL TV Canada will be using social media to provide a live game cast from Bayern-Dortmund. Although the match will be shown in its entirety on delay at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday evening, GOL TV Canada’s Twitter account will provide live updates from the game starting from 12:30 p.m. ET, its scheduled kickoff time.
Anyone following Bayern-Dortmund on Twitter is encouraged to use #livebundesliga to participate at kickoff.
